School District Leverages Performance Contracting Partnership To Reduce Long-Term Expenses and Modernize HVAC Infrastructure at High School
THE OPPORTUNITY
Improve energy efficiency, reduce operation costs, and modernize HVAC infrastructure to improve the learning environment throughout the Senior High School facility. Jennings school district is an urban school district with seven buildings serving approximately 3,264 students. The Senior High School, the largest of the buildings, was fully conditioned except for one wing and the two gymnasiums.
THE RESULTS
Leveraging a team of experts and Energy Savings Performance Contracting process, ESG developed and implemented a $2.7 million modernization and facility improvement program for the Jennings Senior High School that significantly reduced energy consumption while enhancing the learning and working environment.
