PRESIDENT

Jim Adams is the Founder and President of Energy Systems Group (ESG), an award-winning energy services company based in Evansville, IN.  ESG’s core business of Performance Contracting uses energy efficiency, technology, and long term financing strategies to help building owners modernize facilities.  Founded in 1994, Jim has spear-headed ESG’s development and growth  from concept to reality through the implementation of almost $1 Billion of projects via a team of 190+ energy engineering and construction professionals that provide energy solutions for education, healthcare, commercial, and government customers. 

Jim provides leadership, strategic direction, and management of ESG’s $120+ million/year business operating from 14 Branch Offices in the Midwest and Southeast U.S.  With 30 years of experience in the Energy Services and Construction Industries, coupled with a passion for new technologies and innovative solutions, Jim continues to pioneer ESG’s implementation of high quality innovative energy services.  Renewable Energy solutions and assets are adding a whole new dimension to growth.  

EDUCATION

Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University in 1976
