Energy Systems Group is accredited by the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) as an energy services provider. ESG's comprehensive offering includes facility-wide audits, energy and facility project development, engineering and design services, implementation, financing, operations and maintenance services and measurement and verification of savings.
Through our core business of performance contracting and extensive network of utility partnerships, ESG provides innovative solutions for the modernization of buildings and energy infrastructures in the government, education, healthcare and commercial sectors. ESG also designs, builds and operates waste-to-energy facilities and cogeneration plants and offers a full range of renewable energy technology solutions such as solar, wind and geothermal.
Since 1994, the development of long-lasting and trusting relationships continues to be the foundation of our business. ESG has developed over $1.3 Billion in facility improvements and energy efficiency projects for over 300 customers in the education, healthcare, commercial, local, state and federal government sectors.

Energy Systems Group will call on our extensive planning and design experience amassed while developing well over $1.3 billion of energy performance projects and leading-edge renewable energy facilities to provide customers with exceptional energy infrastructure & efficiency solutions.
The ESG team is comprised of professional engineers, project managers, and energy and operations specialists that bring exceptional expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive infrastructure and energy performance projects of varying complexity and size, including renewable energy, waste-to-energy, utility and co-generation projects. As a testament to the success of the projects we deliver, our expansive portfolio includes over $300 million of multi-phase (recurring customer) projects.
Energy Systems Group has developed diverse energy efficiency, renewable energy and capital improvement projects throughout the United States including the U.S. Virgin Islands.
A NAESCO-accredited (National Association of Energy Service Companies) energy services provider, ESG develops and implements turnkey, comprehensive energy efficiency projects, distributed generation, cogeneration or combined heat and power (CHP) projects and waste to energy solutions.
Energy Performance Contracting is a turnkey service sometimes compared to design/build construction contracting which provides customers with a comprehensive set of energy efficiency, renewable energy and distributed generation measures and often is accompanied with guarantees that the savings produced by a project will be sufficient to finance the full cost of the project. A typical Energy Performance Contracting project is delivered by an Energy Service Company (ESCO) and consists of the following elements:

Utilizing renewable energy is an ideal way to increase energy efficiency. Whether you are working towards LEED accreditation, searching for ways to save money, or just want to make your business greener, tapping into renewable energy will help you do so.
ESG’s team of experts can integrate solar, wind and geothermal energy solutions as part of a comprehensive energy management and infrastructure modernization approach that is focused on cost savings through energy efficiency.
Sustainable and renewable energy technologies, such as wind turbines and solar panels, have improved dramatically in recent years. Today, many buildings are able to use renewable energy sources to meet a substantial portion of their energy demands. The cost of these materials has also lowered substantially, making alternative energy more accessible overall.
Geothermal heat, solar energy and wind energy are among several sources available for the creation of renewable energy. To learn more about how renewable energy can make your business more efficient and sustainable, contact Energy Systems Group today.

At Energy Systems Group, energy efficiency, modernized infrastructure, clean energy and smart financial planning are not only the outcomes of the solutions we provide, they serve as the foundation of our strategic vision and sustainability goals.
Through our core business of performance contracting and extensive network of utility partnerships, ESG provides innovative solutions for the modernization of buildings and energy infrastructures in the government, education, healthcare and commercial sectors. ESG also designs, builds and operates central and cogeneration plants and offers a full range of waste-to-energy, solar, wind and geothermal technology solutions.
ESG's expansive portfolio includes the "full spectrum" of biogas utilization including: landfill gas to electricity, landfill gas to medium Btu and direct user, landfill gas to high Btu and pipeline injection, and most recently landfill gas to high Btu with a combination of pipeline injection and compressed processed methane for transportation fuel.
ESG is committed to the development and operation of renewable energy projects. The ESG team is comprised of highly skilled professionals who can evaluate your needs, design a project that will maintain environmental compliance and provide you with a new source of revenue.

What is landfill gas? As solid waste in landfills decomposes, landfill gas is released. Landfill gas consists of approximately 50% methane, 42% carbon dioxide, 7% nitrogen and 1% oxygen compounds. Landfill gas is a readily available, local and renewable energy source that offsets the need for non-renewable resources such as oil, coal and gas.
Energy Systems Group provides its customers with profitable solutions for their landfill gas. ESG's Landfill Gas Development team is comprised of highly skilled professionals who can evaluate your needs, design a project that will maintain environmental compliance and provide you with a new source of revenue.
The ESG team brings over 40 years and 20+ projects of experience to you. Our team is highly experienced in developing direct use projects, electric generation, pipeline quality gas from landfills and all leading technologies utilized in the landfill gas industry.
Landfill gas projects generate revenue from the sale of the gas and also create green jobs associated with the design, construction, and operation of energy systems. Once converted, landfill gas can be utilized in many ways: to generate electricity, heat, or steam; as an alternative vehicle fuel; or sold on the energy market as a renewable "green" power or gas.

We bring a unique understanding of the markets we serve, and provide the skill and discipline to deliver projects that meet the needs of farm partners and asset owners. We see this as a substantial step forward in the business and environmental management of dairies. ESG's farm-based anaerobic digestion projects promote rural and agricultural sector economic development and sustainable, renewable energy production.

As a NAESCO-accredited Energy Service Provider (ESP), the ESG team of leading energy specialists, engineers and project managers have the technical and managerial expertise to provide energy supply, through the development and implementation of build/own/operate distributed generation, cogeneration or combined heat and power (CHP) projects. The ESG team offers a full range of energy services, including conducting energy audits; providing or arranging for project financing; project design and construction management; providing operations and maintenance services; and verifying energy savings according to accepted industry practice.
From plant rehabilitation and improving energy efficiency at no capital cost to onsite power generation and distributed generation, the Energy Systems Group team offers a comprehensive scope of energy infrastructure solutions that enable college campuses, hospitals, government agencies & commercial buildings to meet on-site power needs with energy-efficient, "green" plants that can be built or renovated to become independent power generation facilities with revenue potential for their owners.
